Welcome! We're so glad to meet you.

We launched Margaux with a mission to make beautiful, more comfortable shoes: The staples we we needed in our own closets, and the quality we could count on season after season. Each pair is designed with care in New York, handmade in Spain, and engineered to deliver comfort, confidence, and style without missing a step.

A Dinner for our Gaux Girls

It's been a dream of ours to host a dinner since we first started our Gaux Girl series over a year ago. Then, we could have never imagined what friendships and partnerships the series would inspire.

Each of the Gaux Girls we've featured over the course of the past year embodies - in their own, intensly stylish way - modern ambition. The group now includes tastemakers, entrepreneurs, and go-getters whose careers intersect and connect the worlds of fashion, food, wellness, and more - Each carving a distinct path for themselves, with confidence and grace. Now, the very existence of the series feels core to our brand's mission to celebrate and empower the modern woman through products that carry her effortlessly throughout her day: No shoe-shuffle required.

While we're a digital-first brand, we've also learned that there's no replacement for the connections you make - with brands, products, and people - offline. That's why we've made a point of bringing our fitting experience to life through pop-ups, events, or personal shopping appointments. And it's also why, personally, we love nothing more than bringing our growing Gaux Girl community together for a few perfect hours of swapping stories and sharing laughs over a beautiful, colorful meal prepared by one of our very own.

We first discovered Maman when working out of our first office: A tiny, two-person WeWork on SoHo's iconic West Broadway stretch. Maman opened up a few blocks away soon after we settled in, and we made a habit of taking afternoon meetings and celebratory meals in the cozy back room - and satisfying afternoon cravings with their famous chocolate chip cookies (even Oprah loves them). Since then, we've moved to an office further uptown, but still make weekend pilgrimages to this SoHo staple on our off hours. Meanwhile, Maman has continued to expand, adding a market next door that stocks everything from cashmere wraps to French beauty products, and features a peaceful back patio: A feature nearly unheard of in New York.

For late-October in New York, it was an unseasonably warm night - One that begged for us to move the party outside, though the patio had already been closed for winter. Ever the brilliant hostess, Elisa and her team transformed the patio with candles, fresh-cut flowers, and bistro lights strung overhead. In the faint distance, you could hear car horns and the sounds of the city, but in the moment it felt peaceful and otherworldly.

Over the course of dinner, Elisa served favorites from the Maman menu that showcased her signature approach to food: Simply prepared, unequivocally delicious, and reminiscent of the dishes and recipes one grew up eating. And because it would be a sin to leave Maman without a taste of their chocolate chip cookies, we sent each guest home with one wrapped up for the road.

It was a privilege for us to serve as the common thread to introduce our Gaux Girls to one another, and to watch what magic happened when we gathered them all around the table. As we continue to grow our family of Gaux Girls, it will be only natural to bring us all together again to celebrate them individually, and as members of a larger community with our ongoing mission to connect and build.
